At Davos 2010, the head of International Monetary Fund had expressed his concern for President Obama’s proposal. Mr Strauss-Kahn commented that the current direction towards reforming the financial situation is off-tracked and also highlighted that pulling stimulus spending too quickly may lead to a double-dip causing a negative growth.
Much focuses have been placed on the west whom are experiencing the worst contractions since world ward II. And on the contrary, Asian economies have continued to display a strong growth. Zhu Min, the Chinese deputy Central Bank chief, added, “The reason we have more reserves, that’s because we have more savings. The reason we have more savings is because there’s less savings on the other side.”
